Last month it was the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure®, this month it's the Big Sur Half Marathon, and I'll be running this Sunday as a Sony Walkman Runner. I'm no Meb Keflezighi; like Aesop's turtle, I'm slow and sure, but I'm grateful to Sony for picking me to show everyone that even ordinary people can run a half marathon.
And what does this have to do with giveaways? Absolutely nothing. I just wanted you to know that while you're having your leisurely Friday breakfast, browsing through the linkies below and figuring out which prize you want to win, I'll be hobbling through my last training run and wishing I were home doing the same thing as you!
