Having food allergies sucks when you're a kid. Trust me, I know:  I had a childhood allergy to chocolate (which thankfully I outgrew!) and I could only look on enviously as my friends gobbled chocolate bar after chocolate bar.  But as much as it sucks for kids, it sucks even worse for parents.  Keeping your child safe from food allergens can be challenging!

For parents whose kids have food allergies, Funky Monkey is hosting a Twitter chat on Tuesday, April 23rd at 2:00- 3:00 pm CST. The chat is going to be about dealing with food challenges, restriction and allergies. The chat will also give great tips about how to get in the habit of choosing healthy snacks, as well as the chance to win some sampler packs of Funky Monkey Snacks. Come and join!
