Mark your calendars! Grocery Outlet is having their semi-annual Wine Sale this November 7-11, and all wines will be 20% off! Their wines are already priced ridiculously low, but starting Wednesday you'll get an even better deal. With that 20% discount, you'll end up saving 40%-70% off conventional store prices! What a great time to stock up on your holiday bottles of wine!
Lest you're thinking, Oh, who wants to buy nasty cheapo wine anyway?, you should know that Grocery Outlet sells good wine. Great wine. Wine that you can find in regular grocery stores and wine stores, even. How do they get it so cheap? Grocery Outlet takes advantage of order cancellations by the bigger supermarket chains, or manufacturer's changes in labels, or overruns. They purchase the excess inventory at huge discounts, and pass the savings on to you. The result of their buying process is that each Grocery Outlet store may end up with different inventory, you never know what brands and varieties are going to be available at any point in time -- and you never know how long the supply of your favorite kind is going to last. So hurry and get thee to your local Grocery Outlet wine aisle while the Wine Sale is on!
Disclosure: I received a gift card to Grocery Outlet so I could sample some of the wines they sell. The views and opinions expressed here are my own.
