Setting a Halloween ambiance in your home is as easy as setting your table. A Halloween-themed table really makes things festive and fun, and it all starts with the tablecloth. If you have a beautiful Halloween tablecloth, you can skip the fancy (and expensive) Halloween-decorated plates and glasses, and just go with basic black or orange.
When it comes to Halloween tablecloths, I think Pottery Barn Kids sets the gold (or should I say, orange) standard. Their designs are so classic and cute, and this year's Halloween tablecloth continues the tradition.
It's a beautiful tablecloth, with an orange background, white stars and moon, and black Halloween silhouettes around the border: a girl on a broomstick, a grinning skeleton, a treehouse, a hooting owl. So classic, so whimsical, so cute... so Pottery Barn Kids.
In the first week of October alone, I used this tablecloth three times: once during snacktime to celebrate the beginning of October (you can actually see the tablecloth in one of the photos on my review of the Pottery Barn Kids Halloween countdown calendar!), and twice to serve snacks to 3Po's and Jammy's soccer team.
All the parents on the boys' soccer team commented on what a great idea it was to spread a tablecloth out on the picnic table where they had their snack: the eating area was nice and clean, and everything looked so cute. That tablecloth turned our simple after-game snack into a fun fall party!
Our new Pottery Barn Kids Halloween tablecloth will definitely get a lot of use this October. I'm planning a Halloween party at home later this month, and each of my kids will be having a class Halloween party on the 31st. Hopefully they won't all be at the same time!
