Pink Products -- Clothing

We're almost halfway through Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and although I've pinkified my personal blog, Finding Bonggamom, as well as my October wardrobe, I haven't blogged much about Breast Cancer Awareness here. Granted, Bonggamom Finds is already pretty in pink, but for this month I want to devote more blog time and space to the topic. So I'm doing a series of Pink Posts featuring products that donate some of their proceeds, or make significant lump-sum donations, to charities and foundations involved with breast cancer.

To start with, here are some great clothing products that also benefit breast cancer research:

My favorite shapewear brand, Yummie Tummie, has introduced the Survivor Tank, a new design for breast cancer patients and survivors. It's as light and slimming as anything you'd expect from Yummie Tummie, and it also features a built-in bra with pockets for cup insertion. 100% of the proceeds from the sale of these tanks will go to The City of Hope Research Foundation. (Disclosure: I'm a Yummie Tummie Brand Ambassador).
New Balance's Lace Up for the Cure Collection (performance tees, jackets, bottoms, sports bras, bags, shoes) is more than just a cute line of pink-themed sports clothing and accessories. New Balance contributes 5% of the suggested retail price of sales from the Lace Up for the Cure Collection with a guaranteed minimum donation of $500,000, up to a maximum of $1 million, to the Susan G. Komen foundation. (disclosure: they sent me a pair of their 760 Walking Shoes for me to walk in during the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure).
Ralph Lauren's Pink Pony line includes shirts, jackets, caps, and other clothing and accessories for women and girls. You can show your support in style by purchasing Pink Pony products because 10% of the proceeds on all Pink Pony products benefit cancer care and prevention programs, with a focus on breast cancer, throughout the year. (Disclosure: I'm a Ralph Lauren Brand Ambassador).
KC Tees sells a line of Latina-themed graphic tees. Sales of their "Love & Hope Ribbon" tee from now through December 31 will benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation; a whopping 20% of every tee sold will be donated! The tee is priced at $22 and is available exclusively online.)
Did you know that Evelyn Lauder, together with Self magazine's Alexandra Penney, first created the pink ribbon in 1992? Today it's a worldwide symbol of breast cancer awareness and hope for a cure. During October, proceeds from sales of selected Estée Lauder Companies’products, like this pink tank top, will be donated to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation® (BCRF)to fund prevention and treatment of breast cancer.

If you know of any other great "pink ribbon" clothing, leave a comment here because I'd love to check it out and give them a shout out for their efforts to raise awareness for this important cause. And watch out for more Pink Posts on Bonggamom Finds, featuring great products that also benefit breast cancer research!

Disclosure: I did not receive a sample or monetary compensation for featuring any of the products on this post. I have not reviewed all the products on this post; if I have done or will do a review of a particular product on this post, I have clearly stated so. I do have ongoing relationships with some of the companies featured on this post. The views and opinions expressed here are my own.
