CoverYourHair.com for winter! (review and giveaway)

Although the long-held belief that body heat escapes faster through the head has been proven to be untrue, wearing a hat does keep you more comfortable in cold weather because the head, face and upper chest are more sensitive to sensations of cold. So I still tell my kids to wear hats when they walk to school, because it's cold and chilly, and they never wear much winter clothing to begin with. Besides, hats are such a great fashion statement!

Check out The Pea's latest winter accessory: a stylish knit cap from CoverYourHair.com. They invited us to check out their line of winter hats, and sent us this Cable Winter Pull-On Chaponne with Visor. The Pea chose to order it in lime green, because green is one of her favorite colors, and she happens to own a lime green pea coat in almost exactly the same shade.



I love the cable knit style, and the jaunty little buttons on either side of the visor that give it a nice accent. I'm kind of regretting giving her the hat, because it's a hat that actually fits me (I have a ginormous head and rarely fit into ladies' size hats) and my ski jacket also happens to have lime green accents. I guess I'll have to go back to CoverYourHair.com and get one of my own!
