McDonald's is known for Good Times, Great Tastes and Happy Meals. But today it's time to change the way you think about McDonald's -- September 9 is McDonald's RMHC Day of Change, and everyone who drops their spare change in an RMHC box at participating McDonald's restaurants will be making a contribution to the Ronald McDonald House Charities.
I was invited to tour a Ronald McDonald House last June, and meeting the volunteers and families was a truly special, emotional moment. These houses allow families with sick kids to spend quality family time together when they need it most, so it's a worthy charity, and all you need to spare in order to help is your spare change. So drop by a participating McDonald's today (and that's not just a slogan, I really do mean today!).
