National Donut Day is June 7 {Giveaway}

Donut lovers, rejoice!  National Donut Day is June 7, and once again Entenmann's is getting ready for a sweet celebration.  This year, for the first time ever, Entenmann's has recruited a celebrity ambassador for National Donut Day: Victor Cruz, wide receiver for the New York Giants.  He will be helping to spread the word about National Donut Day and our partnership with The Salvation Army USA.

Why the Salvation Army?  Because National Donut Day was actually started as a fund raiser for the Chicago Salvation Army? Their goal was to help the needy during the Great Depression, and to honor the Salvation Army "Lassies" of World War I, who served doughnuts to soldiers. That started back in 1938, and here we are today, still honoring a great organization and a great snack.

Here's how you can join Victor Cruz, the Salvation Army and Entenmann's in celebrating National Donut Day:

Help raise money for the Salvation Army
From May 1 till June 30, Entenmann's will donate $1 (up to $30,000) to the Salvation Army for every LIKE they receive on the Entenmann's Facebook page.
