1-800 Flowers.com Review and Giveaway

Alfie and I don't have any close relatives living near us; they're all thousands of miles away in the Philippines or in the UK. So sending birthday presents can be a challenge. If we want to send books or toys, we have to wait until some relative comes over, then ask if they can pack the present in their suitcase.

Fortunately, we can always send flowers. Last year we forgot about Alfie's mom's birthday until 3 days before the date, which meant that any card we sent would arrive too late. Greeting cards are a Big Deal with his parents, so Alfie was really bummed until I reminded him we could send flowers. So we used 1-800-Flowers.com to send his mother flowers in the UK. There's nothing like coming home and being greeted with some beautiful flowers. They delivered the order right on time, and I swear the florist who fulfilled the order went the extra mile (0r flower) to pack the bucket extra-full to make it look like it's bursting with nice, large blooms.
