Alfie and I are a match made in heaven and to prove it, all you have to do is look in our kitchen cabinet. All the dishes we have are the ones we bought when we were single, before we even met. When we moved in together, we pooled all our dishes and serveware together. Well, that and more servingware.  I've been wanting to buy new dishes for parties and pot luck dinners, and I couldn't make up my mind which CorningWare set to buy. This fun 4 piece set is a staple for any occasion. From brunch with friends to a dinner for two, this set is the perfect gift for the holidays.

I ADORE this serveware set!  The colors are so vibrant, and I love that they come in complimentary colors so it's easier to match with your existing color scheme.  The whole mix-and-match, eclectic table style is so hip and cool anyway.  They are sure to make your holiday table look gorgeous!

Other great things about this set:

• The pieces nest into each other for space-saving storage
• The stoneware material doesn't scratch easily, and it's pretty easy to clean.
• The pieces are dishwasher, microwave, oven, freezer, and fridge safe.

The 20-oz. mustard yellow dish is perfect for nuts or raisins or cherry tomatoes or cereal or dips.

The teal 3-quart dish is perfect for casseroles and baked dishes, like last night's Nacho Fries Casserole.

The 1.9 quart deep blue shallow dish is great for hot appetizers like mini quiche, and the 1.5 quart red dish is great for anything in between!

The only thing that would make this set better would be a set of lids to go with it, so I don't have to cover my leftovers with foil or plastic wrap when storing them in the fridge or freezer.

This giftable favorite is the perfect stocking stuffer. Perfect for everything from a whole can of soup to your morning oatmeal, the possibilities are endless.

This mug is so cute, and the giant size means you can use it for so many things besides a giant cup of coffee.  It can hold soup, cereal, oatmeal, gravy, dip, or even a yummy mug cake!  My daughter baked me this delicious M&M Mug Cake (actually, she baked it in the microwave), and it was so big, the whole family was able to share it.

The red color is absolutely perfect for the holidays -- you could put a bag of hot cocoa mix and marshmallows inside the mug, tie a ribbon around it, and give it as a holiday present to a friend!  If red is not your thing, this mug also comes in other vibrant colors including green, orange, black, and blue.  Like the CW dishes, this mug is made of stoneware that's safe in the oven, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, and dishwasher.
