Enter the Jif Most Creative Sandwich Contest for the chance to win a $20,000 college fund

I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting (#MC) for Jif. I received a promotional item as a thank you for participating.

I pack sandwiches into my kids' school lunches almost every day.  Many of those sandwiches are PBJs -- peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.  My kids would probably eat PBJs every day, but I haven't dared to test that theory, because I don't want them to get sick of PBJ!  Fortunately, it's easy to get creative and put yummy twists on the classic PBJ to keep it fresh and tasty.  Here are some variations on the classic PBJ that my kids love:

* Use tortillas instead of sandwich bread, and make PBJ burritos.
* Use lavash bread instead of sandwich bread, then roll up and cut into PBJ pinwheels.
* Use cookie cutters to cut the sandwiches into fun shapes.
* Add sliced bananas, sliced strawberries, raisins or smashed-up blueberries.
* Add granola and/or shredded coconut.
* Use honey instead of jelly.
* Use hazelnut spread instead of jelly

Do you have a delicious twist on the PBJ?  Jif wants to know! They are running their Most Creative Sandwich Contest in search of a great original sandwich that includes two tablespoons of your favorite Jif products!  Parents and their children ages 6-12 will be competing to win a $25,000 college fund and a trip to New York City!

The photos in this post are finalist entries from last year.  Just looking at these yum-o creations makes my mouth water.  The contest ends on November 8, so hurry and enter!
