Day 2 Twelve Days of Giveaways

On the second day of Christmas, Bonggamom gives to thee..... a $25 Visa gift card, courtesy of C&H Light!  With so many tempting desserts floating around this time of year, it's nice to know that there's C&H Light, a blend of natural sugar and stevia sugar substitute that has 1/3 the calories of regular sugar. C&H invited me to try baking some holiday favorites with C&H Light and so far it has been a real sweet success!

Our latest baking project was a light apple cobbler from C&H Light's website.  It is one of the easiest recipes ever, and it came out so yummy!  The crumble was nicely browned, sweet and tender-crisp.

We had some blackberries in the fridge, so I threw them into the cobbler as well.  The blackberries were a bit tart (probably why they hadn't gotten eaten immediately), so I sprinkled a bit of C&H Light into the filling.

None of us could tell that I had used a sugar blend instead of regular sugar in this cobbler.  What a delicious way to cut a few extra calories from your desserts!
