It's Halloween Time once again at the Disneyland Resort!

Now that fall is here, I'm starting to see the pumpkins come out in craft stores and supermarkets. Halloween catalogs are starting to arrive at our door in droves -- and I just saw a billboard for Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort as I was driving down Highway 101.

Seeing that billboard really immersed me in nostalgia and memories. We got to visit the Disneyland Resort around this time last year, and everything was even more magical than usual, with amazing fall decorations, Halloween-themed rides and costumed characters. This is probably one of the best times, if not the best time to visit -- the crowds are thinner, the lines are shorter, the air is cooler, and all the attractions are just as much fun as they are in the peak season. If you get the chance, you really should go. Don't have kids? Who needs kids? Grownups have just as much fun!

And if you love the energy of parties and crowds, never fear, you can always get tickets to Mickey's Halloween Party! I've never been to this, but I can only imagine how much fun it would be -- trick-or-treating around Disneyland Park, watching the fireworks, getting your photo taken with all the characters, partying with all the aliens in Tomorrowland, all in costume. I already have the whole family's costumes planned in the event that we ever have the opportunity to attend -- we're all going to dress as characters from Alice in Wonderland. Alfie will be the Mad Hatter, The Pea will be Alice, 3Po and Jammy will be Tweedledum and Tweedledee. As for me, I'll be the Red Queen of Hearts, of course!
