Dinosaur Train DVD giveaway

A new season of Dinosaur Train is chugging to TV screens on August 22, and Buddy and his friends are celebrating in a big (dare I say, dino-sized?) way! Dinosaur Train's second season will focus on exploring the outdoors and natural phenomena, and will feature "Big Dinosaur Week" and a special based on the fan favorite "Dinosaurs A to Z" song.

The season kicks off with a special showing of Dinosaur Big City, a one-hour Dinosaur Train movie airing on August 22 on PBS KIDS (check local listings). In addition, The Jim Henson Company, Random House Children’s Books and Paramount Home Entertainment have partnered with Amtrak for a nationwide promotion in August to support the season premiere on PBS KIDS of Dinosaur Train: Dinosaur Big City on August 22 and the DVD release on August 23. How cool is that! Here are some of the highlights:




* Amtrak will feature Dinosaur Train kids placemats on Long Distance Trains.

* Dinosaur Train-themed seatbacks, counter cards, activitybook giveaways will be in over 100 stations nationwide to promote the sweepstakes and DVD release.

* One million ticket jackets will be used system wide featuring Dinosaur Train.

* Select “Dinosaur Big City” DVDs will also include an Amtrak offer.

* Best of all, Amtrak and Dinosaur Train are holding a sweepstakes for a Rocky Mountain vacation!
