Disney Junior's "Yo Ho Let's Go Summer" starts June 13

Disney is gearing up for summer! I just returned from a press trip to the Disneyland Resort, where they unveiled all the fun things going on in the park for summer, including the new Little Mermaid ride and the revamped Star Tours ride, the new summer parade and more. Over on the Disney Channel, Disney Junior has a fun summer online program featuring the series "Jake and the Never Land Pirates". If your child is too scared of Captain Jack Sparrow and the rest of the Pirates of the Caribbean crew, tune in to Jake and his friends for some kid-friendly pirate fun! Here's what's in store for your kids when they go online to Disney Junior:

Throughout the summer, Disney Junior is inviting kids and their parents to take part in an interactive treasure hunt on-air and online at DisneyJunior.com. Beginning Monday June 13 - Friday August 26, viewers will see gold doubloons popping up during their favorite shows throughout the Disney Junior programming block on Disney Channel. Kids and their parents can then go online at www.DisneyJunior.com/Summer to enter the number of gold doubloons they have seen throughout the week to unlock online treasures including new episode previews, games and activities.

Adding to the fun, you can download gold doubloons for your kids to decorate, then photograph them with their doubloons and upload their pictures to the site. Some viewer images may be used on-air during the Disney Junior programming block.
