One of the best things I love about Glee is how my kids and I are rediscovering some of my old favorite songs and falling in love with new ones. I never thought I'd have Don't Stop Believin' on my iPod, but thanks to Glee's amazing remakes of Journey, Queen, Madonna and more, my playlist is more eclectic and exciting than ever. My kids are hearing great classics like Proud Mary and You Can't Always Get What You Want, sung in a fresh, new way. They are just 9, 7 and 7, so they don't watch the episodes, but they love the music and I'm happy to share it with them. And with the new Glee Encore DVD coming out on April 19, it's going to be easier than ever for them to rock out to the music of Glee!

We received a review copy of Glee Encore, and I must say I'm so glad to have it because now I can erase all of the old Glee season 1 episodes on my DVR and free up all that space for tapings of new Glee episodes! I don't have the time to watch them, really, but I kept them because I couldn't stand the thought of losing them all, and from time to time -- usually after a watching the latest Glee episode -- I like to watch a musical number from a past show that I really like. Now I can just pop Glee Encore into my DVD! I can even show it to my kids, because the DVD shows select musical numbers from Glee season 1, with none of the drama or the mature themes. I can't wait for Glee Encore season 2!
