Star Costumes.com Review and Giveaway

Ho! Ho! Ho! December is almost halfway over, and Christmas is only 12 days away! At the Bongga household, we're really getting into the holiday spirit. Holiday cards have been arriving in droves, and as we do every year, we're stringing them up over our doorways to make colorful, festive (and meaningful) garlands. Our Christmas toy train is out, and the kids are going crazy over it since they only see this little train set once a year. They're eating through their chocolate Advent calendars, and steadily building up the Santa Claus scene from their toy Advent calendar. The front of the house is decorated, and the stockings have been hung.

Best of all, Mrs. Claus has come for a visit!

Okay, that's not actually Mrs. Claus. That's me, dressed up in a cute Mrs. Claus costume from StarCostumes.com. They invited me to check out their line of Christmas costumes, Elf costumes, Angel costumes, and other fun costumes in their holiday line.

I decided on the Mrs. Claus costume because I thought it was adorable, and perfect for getting the holiday season started. It's nice and warm (the red material is flannel), so I could actually wear it outdoors to a holiday parade and not freeze to death (now that wouldn't be very jolly). It comes with a cute frilly cap and an apron (attached to the dress), with a poinsettia on each. If I wanted to be a barmaid or a peasant, I could easily remove the poinsettias to dampen the Christmassy effect.

Finally, a costume that works perfectly with glasses!

Star Costumes also has Adult biblical costumes and Kids biblical costumes if you are putting on a Nativity play. See, costumes aren't just for Halloween!
