Kidz Bop Christmas Party cd Review and Giveaway

My kids are big fans of Kidz Bop, the kids music brand featuring pop tunes that kids love. Since it's sung by kids, the songs are always within their vocal range, so my kids can easily sing along. The songs have a strong beat, it's also really easy and fun to dance to. And it's a great way to discover new songs! We were recently invited to review the new Kidz Bop Christmas Party cd, and it has been a great for getting my kids into the holiday spirit. Read below to see what we think of the cd -- and enter to win one of your own!


The Basics
Kidz Bop is the #1 kids music brand in the US, and this holiday season they have released a brand new album, the Kidz Bop Christmas Party. The cd contains a total of 15 classic and popular hits such as “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” “Jingle Bell Rock,” “Silver Bells,” “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town” and more.


The Bongga
My kids love this cd! They've been listening to it so often that they'll learn all the words to the songs in no time. Like all the Kidz Bop cd's, it's easy to sing and dance to, so it's the perfect background music for a kids' holiday party. I like that it features all the Christmas classics, all jazzed up for today's generation so our kids don't find it too staid and boring. I don't think they'd give "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year" or "Silver Bells" the time of day if it weren't on this cd! This holiday season, I have a feeling we're going to be listening to this cd in the car quite a bit.


The Blah
Even though the kids are sure to love it, you might want to ask them to play this cd in their rooms, or in the basement, and put on a classical music cd in the living room for the grownups in the party. It's a bit too heavy on the synthesized beats and jingle bells for adult tastes, and frankly, I don't know whether any parent would appreciate hearing Christmas music sung by any child other than their own.


The Bottom Line
Kidz Bop Christmas Party is a great cd for kids, and it's a great way to keep classic Christmas tunes fresh and fun for the younger generation.
