Baby Bunch -- Winter Bunch Review and Giveaway

'Tis the season to give presents, and when you do, don't forget the littlest ones on your list! The Baby Bunch has a beautiful gift idea for new parents this winter -- the Winter Bunch, an adorable bouquet of baby clothes for 0-6 months. The Baby Bunch sent me one of these gorgeous gifts so I could see for myself how beautifully a set of baby clothes can be presented, and how practical a bunch of "flowers" can be.


The Basics
The Baby Bunch sells baby gifts that are both practical and beautiful: soft, 100% cotton baby clothes arranged to look like a bunch of flowers or cupcakes or crayons or eggs. There are also organic cotton gift packages and gift packages for moms.

As with all Baby Bunch products, I love the unique, whimsical presentation; just because a present is practical doesn't mean it has to look boring! They've packed it full, so it's lush and bursting with happiness. Or baby clothes. Well, both. And the winter-themed colors (white, deep red and green) make it even more festive:



The Blah
While the idea of snowy white baby clothes is appealing -- think sweet, innocent little lambs -- the reality is that white isn't the most practical baby color choice. After one or two uses, they always seem to be permanently stained with spit, juice and milk. I think it would have been better to make the baby clothes deep red, then embellish them with white rosebuds, instead of the other way around. I think it's more likely that new moms will want to show their babies off in a deep red outfit than a stained white one!


The Bottom Line
Despite my misgivings on the practicality of white, I still think the Winter Bunch is a gorgeous, festive way to welcome a new baby. It will definitely be the standout baby shower present or new mom present this holiday season!
