Vote for your favorite Disney Villain

Mirror, mirror on the wall, who's the baddest of them all? October is Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort, and one of the most interesting and unusual special attractions at this time of the year is the appearance of the Disney Villains. Usually you get cute, classic favorites like Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Winnie the Pooh and the Disney Princesses. But during Halloween Time the Disney Villains come out to play: you'll see them around Fantasyland near It's a Small World, posing for photographs and having a scary good time.

If you aren't traveling to the Disneyland Resort this October, you can still get in on the Disney Villain fun by voting for your favorite Disney Villain at Disneyland.com/Halloween. The candidates in the running are:

* Evil Queen (from Snow White)
* Ursula (from The Little Mermaid)
* Captain Hook (from Peter Pan)
* Malificent (from Sleeping Beauty)
* Cruela de Vil (from 101 Dalmatians)
* Jafar (from Aladdin)

My vote goes to Malificent -- she literally haunted my nightmares when I was a little girl -- but I didn't dare say that when we met a couple of Disney villains at the Halloween Time mom blogger event we attended in September. Each one of them is dying to win the title of Favorite Disney Villain, and since neither of the villains we met was Malificent, I kept my thoughts to myself. After all, if they're dying to win they probably would kill to win, too ;)

The Queen of Mean
Cruela de Vil, the Queen of Mean, was quite good at working the crowd and campaigning for votes. Hmm, I wonder if she gave Sarah Palin some of her notes for the November election?

Evil stepmother
Snow White's Evil Queen stepmother didn't have to say anything to get Alfie and The Pea gazing at her in adoration. Her regal evilness won them over, and she didn't even have to give them a magic apple to convince them. The Pea even wore her "Vote for the Evil Queen" button throughout our stay at the Disneyland Resort.

So who do you think is the best at being bad? Vote for your favorite Disney Villain before October 28!

Disclosure: Disney covered travel expenses for me and my family to experience Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort. The views and opinions expressed here are my own.
