Celebrate California Strawberries with a Strawberry Teakettle Giveaway!

I had the pleasure of meeting the folks from the California Strawberry Commission last month at Child Play Communication's Bloganthropy Awards, and I'll thrilled to be working with them to promote strawberries! My whole family loves strawberries, and we're so lucky to be living in California because we can get the sweetest, juiciest, brightest strawberries any time of the year.

There are so many delicious ways to enjoy strawberries! We cut strawberries up into our cereal, and blend them up with bananas and yogurt for a healthy smoothie. I lay them in a prebaked pie shell and pour glaze on top for a quick, yummy strawberry pie. Sometimes we eat strawberries and whipped cream for dessert. And for a decadent treat, we love strawberries dipped in chocolate! Here are few more ways we enjoy strawberries:

Sliced strawberries to decorate Alfie's chocolate birthday cake.

Yummy berry parfait made with yogurt, cinnamon, strawberries, and -- guess what? -- salad dressing!
