I remember the first movie I ever watched at a movie theater. It was The Sound of Music, and I must have been five or six years old. We didn't watch many movies when I was a kid, but once I entered college I must have gone to a movie theater at least once a week. I've got lots and lots of good memories at the movies; not only of the movies themselves, but of people and events that happened there, like sneaking into a second movie after the first movie ended or getting my first French kiss.

Now that I have kids, nights at the movies are few and far between for Alfie and me, which makes them all the more precious.
